About

{Dispersion Capital}

Dispersion Capital is a specialist early-stage venture firm built around enduring technical needs rather than thematic cycles. We invest at pre-seed and seed in the foundational systems that allow intelligence to operate across models, agents, devices, enterprises, networks, and financial systems without depending on a single platform, provider, or operator.
Our focus is decentralized intelligence, the infrastructure required as software moves from generating outputs to taking action across distributed environments. Dispersion brings more than two decades of institutional technology investing across multiple computing cycles, with experience spanning AI, distributed and edge computing, open-source software, cryptography, blockchain, and financial infrastructure. We combine that experience with deep technical research and close work with founders to identify and build the infrastructure new computing architectures will depend on.

About

{Dispersion Capital}

We invest before infrastructure becomes obvious.
Dispersion Capital is an early-stage venture firm investing in infrastructure for decentralized intelligence: systems that allow AI to operate across models, devices, enterprises, networks, and trust boundaries without relying on a single platform.
We invest in the foundational technologies autonomous software will depend on.

Our Mission

Make decentralized intelligence deployable, trustworthy, and economically useful.
We invest in the infrastructure for a multi-model, multi-agent, multi-data, multi-network, multi-platform, multi-chain, and multi-currency world.

Our Approach

01

We invest before the category exists.

At pre-seed and seed, the most important infrastructure companies often begin as solutions to recurring technical failures.

We form conviction before the market has a clean category, established budget, or consensus narrative, and we invest while the architecture, product, and market definition are still taking shape.

02

We develop alongside founders.

We work with founders on category definition, product strategy, enterprise adoption, go-to-market, partnerships, financing, and, where relevant, network and token design.

Our role is to help technical teams translate structural insight into companies that can endure.

03

We deploy into the real world.

Technical elegance is not enough. Infrastructure must survive security reviews, procurement, compliance, integration, latency, cost, and operational risk.

We help founders translate technical advantage into products that can operate in production and become infrastructure other software depends on.

DECENTRALIZED INTELLIGENCE

04

We know infrastructure.

Our experience spans cloud infrastructure, edge computing, distributed systems, cryptography, blockchain, open-source software, and AI.

We have invested across multiple computing cycles and work with technical practitioners and enterprise operators to evaluate architecture, failure modes, adoption constraints, and long-term durability.

Our Vision

AI is becoming a democratizing force. Models are becoming cheaper, more open, more specialized, and more widely distributed. At the same time, software is moving from generating outputs to taking action.

The resulting internet will be heterogeneous by default: many models, agents, data sources, networks, platforms, chains, and currencies. Its architecture must work across providers and trust boundaries. It will require identity, authority, memory, routing, execution, verification, and settlement across systems that do not share one operator.

We believe durable value will accrue to the infrastructure that makes this environment work. Open-source AI expands access to intelligence. Edge computing determines where it runs. Cryptography and blockchain provide tools for verifiable trust. Programmable money enables machine-native economic activity.

Dispersion invests in the infrastructure connecting these layers.
